COTC5 Registration Fee

NZ$250.00

Registration for Clash of the Codes 5 - the most epic corporate fight night in town is now open!

We are looking for contenders to join our 13-week fight camp where we'll teach you the ins and outs of boxing, while pushing you to conquer new heights of fitness!

At the end of the camp, some lucky contenders will get the opportunity to step into the ring and put their newfound skills to the test on fight night.

Our experienced coaches will carefully match contenders to ensure fair fights with opponents of similar skill levels.

Not interested in fighting? No worries! You can still join in on the camp for a fun and challenging experience.

While we can't promise everyone a fight, we'll do our best to make suitable matchups based on your dedication and commitment to training.

Other stuff you need to know:

  • The training camp starts the week of 11th August 2025

  • Contenders need to attend 3 team training sessions per week

  • Fight night will be held on Saturday, 8th November 2025, at The Indian Centre in Kilbirnie

  • Camp participation is open to individuals aged 18 and above, while those wishing to compete must be aged between 18 and 55 years old

  • Training sessions for the Kilbirnie 6022 (White team) are on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings from 6am to 7am

  • Training sessions for the Lower Hutt 5010 (Black team) are on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings from 6am to 7am

  • The registration fee of $250 per person is non-refundable. It covers your 3x weekly training sessions with our expert coaches over 13 weeks, and a fight singlet for those lucky enough to get matched

  • We do not supply wraps, gloves or mouth guards; you must have your own to participate

Curious about how we make the matchups fair and exciting? Here's our recipe:

  • Contenders will be matched with opponents within a 5kg weight range

  • We'll make sure you face off against someone with a similar skill level

  • Age difference between opponents will be no more than 10 years

  • Your dedication and commitment to training will play a big part in determining the matchups

Everyone is expected to attend the first "whole camp" session happening at the Lower Hutt gym on Sunday, 10th August. Once registrations close, you’ll receive information packs and more details about this session. Until then, if you have any burning questions, hit us up at clashofthecodes.wbg@gmail.com.

Thanks and congratulations for taking the plunge – you won’t regret it!
